9 months

Autumn is now 9 months old!

Autumn update:
-Still just has 2  bottom teeth
-sits up on her own and just a couple days ago I got her from her nap and she was sitting up ready to get out. When did she grow up?
-size 3 diapers
-3-6 month clothes
-so I thought I would loose my little jumping bean once we put the jolly jumper away, but Autumn likes to jump even without it! I stabilize her and she jumps like crazy!

-likes to walk with assistance everywhere. She is really stable too.

-enjoys brushing her teeth-after mommy brushes them first ;)

-does laundry with mom and she is soooo helpful-insert sarcasm!

-her first Canada day was awesome!

-crawls around like crazy
-probably 16lbs by now since last month she was 15lbs 2oz

-her giggle is contagious! She does this cheezer of a grin with really shows off her bottom teeth! lol

-she is the happiest baby in the world

-loves to eat whole fruits and veggies-especially gnawing down on a strawberry and getting the juices EVERYWHERE!

-is a social bug! As soon as she is done napping she is right by our door wanting out. She goes to Auntie Liz's first and scratches on her door until she opens up! Love that kid!

-Her hair is getting SUPER long and goes curly when wet! I hope that is a sign that she is going to get her daddy's gorgeous locks!

-has 2-3 bottles a day (morning, bedtime and nap times)and eats 4 meals throughout the day with snacks

-she pinches things with her index and thumb really well

-loves playing the "drums" (pots and pans)

-enjoys the spray park and going for walks with momma

-she likes to eat in style! lol

-Autumn can't wait for bath time every day. When she hears the water running she gets uber excited!

-Autumn has figured out how to open drawers... not truly loving that! lol

-Fun when daddy dresses her for the day! Daddy thought he was funny for putting the hood up. Autumn couldn't stop laughing! lol

-had her first official boo-boo yesterday. She was playing out in the hall and I think she was trying to get herself up on a ball and it came out from under her. :( Smacked her head on the edge of the door.

-Whenever Autumn sees a guy in an orange shirt she says, "da da." I find it incredibly adorable!

 -She has her moments! lol

-Autumn has a boyfriend. His name is Ryder. He always wants to give her hugs and kisses... can't blame the kid!

As the Jason and I, we are doing real well. The summer has been really successful and so much fun. We get to see family lots (some are in the city) and lots of friends!

My parents came up this week and I had a ton of fun shopping and catching up with them.

2 Sundays ago, we went to Sylvan lake to visit Jason's parents who were at a Scout function volunteering. It was nice to spend the day together and walk around the camp. Steven, Jason's nephew was there as well. I have missed all of them so much.

The summer is already almost over and I am sad to leave this great group of girls. We have had so much fun and next summer can't come soon enough.

8 Months

8 MONTHS!

I swear I just had Autumn not a month ago. How does 8 months fly past me like that?!
Autumn is such a joy and gets more fun and more crazy everyday!

Autumn updates:

-Just got her 6 month shots 3 weeks ago and was a champ! Daddy is so good with her and the 6 month shots are not half bad. Only one poke.
-She weighs 15lbs 2oz (18th %ile)
-26 inches long (45th %ile)

-Head circumference 16 inches (20th %ile)
-makes this awesome sound like she is blowing through a trumpet. Uncle Kevin says I gave birth to a motor boat! lol
-wears 3-6 month clothes
-size 3 diapers
-1 front right tooth (31) and cut her second right beside it on Fathers Day! (41)

-loves her baby mum mums (cracker)
-loves peas, pears, carrots, sweet potatoes, butternut squash,prunes,oranges,watermelon... and of course her oatmeal cereal!

-she eats 2tbsp of oatmeal cereal and half a little jar of some veggie every meal. She has become quiet the eater!
-She eats whole cucumbers... alright, it's more like sucking the insides out, but she LOVES them!
-army crawls EVERYWHERE and gets into EVERYTHING!-
-says mum mum, da da and ba ba really well :)

-smiley little sucker!
-loves swimming
-her jolly jumper has lost its usefulness... she likes getting to places and it holds her back. Sad. I won't have my jumping bean for very much longer.

As for other news, Fathers day was a HIT! Autumn made Jason the cutest little clay sign that had her hand prints in them and says "Worlds best dad, HANDS DOWN!" in it. It turned out quiet adorable! Jason also received a hand decorated tie from Autumn. She touched the tie and I would glue a decoration of her choice on there. Jason wore it proudly to church!

26 years and 7 months...

Ok ok! So I am 26 today and Autumn turned 7 months yesterday! Life is amazing and I feel so blessed!
Soooo...
Autumn got the stomach flu Monday night and was up all night puking. My chid sleeps 12 hours straight at night, so staying up all night was difficult to say the least. She was just so sad and exhausted. She would get so scared after vomiting that she would just curl up in my arms and fall asleep after every episode. She had a fever and was such a little hot muffin. She stopped puking at 6:30am on Tuesday and was just super sleepy all day. I put her down for the night at 6:30pm (her usual bed time is 8:00pm) and she slept uninterrupted till 9:30 this morning!!!

Talk about a happy birthday present to me!

Jason let me sleep in till 9:30 and then he told me to get up and get ready because he was taking me out to Cora's for breakfast! -Side note: Jason usually goes to the office to prepare for the office meetings everyday at 10:00, so having him with me till noon was beyond words!

I promise there IS a waffle under all that
strawberry,whip cream goodness

Our dear friends, Liz and Ben Foote took Autumn while he treated me out. When we got home at 11:00 Autumn was down for a nap and Jason and I cuddled and enjoyed each others company for 45 min! As we were laying there, Jason and I remembered that this day last year, we found out we were having a little girl coming to our home. Our little Autumn has been such a blessing and reward. I couldn't imagine life without her. It was such a great birthday morning. Second side note: to top it all off, dear Autumn is still sleeping as I compose this blog at 1:45pm!
Yep, best day ever!

And the summer Vivint wives threw me a party! It was such a fun surprise!! Good food and friends...could a girl ask for more?

Bacon is my favourite!

Autumn updates:
-probably 14-15lbs

-sits up on her own (reaches far for toys and even puts her hand down to assist herself to stretch further)
-I only brought 3-6 month and up clothes to Edmonton, so she is wearing 3-6 month clothes. Mind you, none of her 3-6 month pants or shorts fit her, so I had to go out and buy some 0-3 month ones for her. lol
-size 3 diapers only out of necessity if you catch my drift... size 2 wasn't cutting it... or should I say catching it (all)!

-loves bathtime
-rolling like crazy everywhere (even rolls from room to room when she wants to be with me)
-head circumference 15 1/2 inches

-25 inches long
-loves her jolly

-loves swimming

-loves the park and stroller rides

-ever so smiley
-been saying da-da for about a month now

-loves playing with Brynlee

-more babbling than usual

-

Oh yeah, and Mothers Day was on Sunday and Jason never ceases to surprise and spoil me! (I think I like my birthday and Mothers Day being so close together... it's been a good couple days of spoiling and pampering!!)

OOOOOOOO!
AND
My parent, brother, and his wife Heather are coming to visit us in Edmonton this long weekend!!! It is going to be
EPIC!!!
