LIFE

I realize that I haven't blogged in a while but life has been sooo busy!
So many new things are happening that blogging just fell on the back burner for a while. But I am resolved to getting back on the blogging horse!
Tiffany and Alex are in Medicine Hat for 4 months now and I cannot tell you how happy I am to have one of my sisters close by! Jade and Autumn are going to get so close in these months to come!
I have started a new business and it has really taken up a lot of my time. Finding contacts, spreading the word, filling orders etc. Time is just flying by!
Along with baby barefoot sandals, I am doing baby headbands that have velcro attached to both the band and the flower part so that customers can mix and match flowers to bands for every outfit!

See, same flower, but different band. TOTALLY different look!

Same headband and different flower this time!

It just makes it really easy to mix N' match different combinations and find a completely new look each time. I am in LOVE with the product, I just need to get the word spread. So needless to say, it has been hours and hours of contacting. lol

I have the cutest model! ;)

I would love comments and suggestions so please feel free. I do a give away every month so stay tuned to my Little Shneebs facebook page for your chance to win one of these!

Other than business things, The King clan is doing awesome! Autumn is now 15 months and she is growing and learning new things everyday now. I don't feel like I have a baby anymore. :(

For summer work this year, we are heading to Calgary! I am so very excited for this! We have been in Edmonton for 3 summers now, so the idea of a new place is exciting and scary at the same time. lol

I have started the clean eating (Paleo)lifestyle and am loving it! I was a little nervous about me enjoying the food, but I found my only complaint it eating every 3 hours. It is hard to think of menus for 4-6 meals a day! I have now scheduled every meal so this helps a ton! I started a week ago and am doing a 30 day challenge to see how I feel by the end of it. At the rate I am going though, I could make this a permanent way of life.
LOVING IT!

Autumn is a year old!

My baby girl is a year old?
WHAT THE!?!?!

I can't believe how fast this year has gone.

Autumn Updates:

-Turned 1 on October 14!

-She has 5 teeth right now with the 6th one coming in!
-in size 4 diapers
-size 6-9 month clothes
-has enough hair for piggy tails now
-loves going to Crossfit with mommy

-now dances turning back and forth making her hands dance about
-claps

-sleeps from 7-8:30 without waking. I'm ok with 13 1/2 hours! ;)

-has 2 naps usually unless she sleeps in a bit then one in the afternoon

-LOVES stuffed animals and makes a cute little squeal when she sees one and hugs them to her face

-Loves fruit and eats pretty well now.

-Put her on our scale and she is about 19lbs. Her immunization is on the 21st so we will know for sure then

-goes up and down the stairs. Jason taught her sooo well. She will go down in multiple ways. She slides on her bum, turns around or scales the wall. Talented!

-Was a little monster for Halloween

-3 bottles during the day. Have weened her to homo. Once a day though, I add formula with it so my mind is at ease that she is getting all the nutrients she needs lol

-loves playing with friends. Sometimes she is mean and pushes them over. Funny, but not funny. lol

-she climbs up her slide, turns around and slides down. She also climbs up the stairs. She is an amazing climber!!

-When she sees a monkey or is playing with her stuffed monkey, she says oooh ooo!

As for Jason and I, we are doing great! We just hosted a Halloween murder mystery party and it was a hit! I think we will have to do one every year.
Jason is busy at work, and I am enjoying the blessing of staying home with my peanut! Jason is sweet and takes Autumn during the day while I exercise. She loves her daddy time.
We just booked our tickets to Hawaii for February. It will be the first time leaving Autumn! I am freaking out already! I thought I would be one of those moms that would be completely chill with leaving their kids at home here and there for a holiday... nope. I will miss her soo much! Jasons parents will be watching her and that makes me feel much better!

Conference 2013- lds.org

I love Conference and look forward to it every 6 months! Autumn and I got to watch the Saturday session together.

Autumn watching conference
pictures from 6 months ago-April 2013 session

Thoughts from today:
-I feel so blessed to have a living prophet on this earth
-I love my family

-I am so grateful for a husband who holds the priesthood. Jason is a wonderful provider and a man who loves and serves God above all else!

-The law of tithing is so important. The blessings of paying a full and honest tithing are endless. I have, and will always have a testimony of this great commandment.
-I am proud to be a mother and a homemaker, period. It is the greatest blessing and calling I could ask for. I feel so honoured that the Lord would trust Jason and I with one of his beloved children.
-The Lord is with each of us in our trials. He knows what we are going through and he loves us unconditionally.
-Missionary work is for everyone!

One of my favourite quotes:
"The world has enough women that are tough, we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are corse, we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude, we need women who are refined
There are enough women of fame & fortune, we need more women of faith. We have enough greed, we need more goodness. We have enough vanity, we need more virtue. We have enough popularity, we need more purity"

11 months

Gah!
I totally forgot to blog about Autumn at 11 months!!

Autumn updates:

-Walks with the high chair everywhere! And is even smart enough to back it up :)
-Now walks around with holding just one of my hands. No more two hands.

-reading scriptures before bed with daddy

-Loves being back at home!
-tells everyone what a sheep says... "baaa" or "baa baa"
-likes to be a little indian making pow wow war cries!
-dances! Whenever she hears music she bobs up and down

-eats everything we do. We are trying to wean her off of formula. I still have a can left so I will try and have her weaned by the time the can is empty. Has a bottle when she wakes, for her naps and before bed (6oz).
-She is eating and I think enjoying food a lot more! It's not such a hassle anymore.

-little Audy is such a daddy's girl! When Jason was gone to his man camp, all she would say day in and day out was, "da da da da da"
-Just moved her into 6-9 month clothes!!!
-I weighed her on our home scale and she weighs 18 lbs
Has 4 teeth now! the front two (upper and lower)

-started saying "up"-sounds more like "uh" but I know what she means ;)
-she is one heck of a stair climber! The little stinker as of today can go down them backwards. She practiced on our little step leading into the living room and now is a pro on the real stairs.

-bear crawls, army crawls, wounded soldier crawls, regular knee crawls...and now stands on her own! Hasn't walked yet, but I give her a month.
-love her laugh
-sleeps from 7pm-8:30am then I give her a bottle and she sleeps again till 9:30. I consider it her first nap. Then she sleeps from about 12:30-2:00.
-loves stuffed animals. She always puts them up to her face and giggles
-LOVES books! She could have me read them all day....
-size 4 diapers
-waves "hi"
-gives the best slobbery kisses!
-Still, at least 10+ times per shopping trip I get people stopping us all the time! They tell me about their 6 children and then goo at her. I totally don't blame them and she eats it all up! She is such a flirt and makes everyone fall in Love with her.

-Went on a walk with daddy and found a frog. I guess she loved the frog sooo much that she picked it up and started waving with it.  Jason quickly took it out of her hands before she squished it.  Poor little frog!

-LOves brushing her teeth!
