19 Weeks!
So at 19 weeks I feel pretty much the same as weeks 1-18... I know boring.
One thing that has changed though is that at night I get the worst cramps or like charlie horses in my hips. I've tried putting pillows in between my legs while I sleep, but no... still get them. At least I have a wonderful husband who rubs the charlie horses out!
He is so sweet to me!
Tomorrow I go to my ultra sound appointment... on my birthday! I thought for the longest time I would be having a girl, but now that the ultrasound appointment is so close, I am second guessing myself. lol
For mothers day yesterday Jason got me the book, "What to expect when you're expecting." Of course I cried my eyes out because I cry a lot.... for no reason. lol And then to top it off he got me the cutest little newborn booty shoes! Of course they were boy shoes because Jason thinks it's a boy. haha. So if it is a girl, I guess she can wear blue shoes?!?! lol.
Of course she can wear blue shoes!! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to say only one thing (and take it with a grain of salt as I know that so many people are offering their own opinions, etc), but be careful with the "What to Expect" book series. They are great resources for information, but reading them from top to bottom can be incredibly draining and overwhelming, and often pregnant woman over think symptoms or problems they feel they are having. It causes more anxiety than excitement in being pregnant and having a baby. A great resource tool, but not a great afternoon read for pleasure.
Just my two cents. LOVE YOU!!!
I agree! I wanted it as a reference for my pregnancy. I dont think I could read the whole thing (to me it would be a boring read. lol) I am so excited for tomorrow... it's like Christmas! I don't think I'll sleep tonight. Ill keep you posted on whether you have a niece or a nephew!
DeleteRead with caution. I agree with Marci on this one. Not my favorite books I have tons of great reads in my birth library if you are interested. I am pleased he got you cute little baby shoes. I LOVE baby shoes. And your little girl can wear blue. It will bring out the color of her eyes :)
ReplyDeletelol I would love to see what you have for reading! What do you recommend?!
DeleteWell a great way to spend part of your birthday...and of course girls can wear blue! Have a very happy birthday, made better by seeing your wee one. Lucky you - in "my day, the olden days" every birth brought a surprise - I never knew the sex of any of my offspring before they were born. I sure did not mind, the excitement was enhanced. Sending love your way, on your special day.
ReplyDeleteIT would be fun to have a surprise at birth but I am so impatient! lol Thanks for your love and support!
